Description: Inexma was appointed to do the electrical installation for an internationally owned data centre in Cape Town. This large scale project consisted of a complete scope of work, including upgrading the main supply from Eskom to a 12000kVa connection.
All the MV containment, cable work and terminations was done by Inexma Electrical. All the LV containment, cable work and terminations, including all connections and control cabling to and from the transformers and switchgear. Office lights, plugs and switches was also included in Inexma’s scope as well as all fence lighting and street lighting. Inexma was also responsible for coordination of the Switchgear and Generator installation and commissioning.
Finally, Inexma did the first fix for fire, BMS, security and ICT as well as the cable installation for security and ICT.
